What is it like working with the team and how would you describe your role?
It’s a rewarding experience working alongside such talented specialists in their respective fields. HR Group have fostered a high-level of trust within the team and everyone’s contribution is valued. As a project manager, my role is to collaborate closely with each member of the team, and the job is made that much easier when you’re working with the best people. It also means project planning is seamless and well-executed.
How would you describe the culture and how does this influence project outcomes?
HR Group’s culture places a lot of value on open communication and giving everyone a say. They’re open to ideas that might improve a project. This flexible and inclusive approach means we're always challenged to improve and find ways to better serve the needs of residents.
Can you share an example where the strength of the team has positively impacted on the execution of a project?
One project that comes to mind is the Elysian development in Parnell. As the project manager, I worked closely with the designers and construction team to seamlessly incorporate sustainability initiatives with premium design elements, surpassing everyone's expectations. The success of this collaborative effort is a real testament to our team's strength.

From a leadership perspective, setting a high standard of execution from the outset is critical – everyone is accountable to maintain a focus on quality at every stage of the project from inception through to post-construction.
